Job titles to search for
Gulf adverts use many names for the same work. Search for all of these:
What Gulf employers look for
- Systems: split and package units, VRF/VRV, chillers, AHUs, FCUs.
- Installation, servicing and fault-finding.
- Refrigerant handling and brazing.
- Building or facilities management experience, with named sites.
Certificates and documents
- ITI refrigeration and air-conditioning, or diploma.
- Experience letters.
- Any manufacturer training certificates.
Recruiters often want your CV and certificates together. Keep clear scans or photos of every certificate on your phone, so you can send them the same day.
CV tips
- Open with system types: "chillers, VRF, AHU/FCU".
- Say whether you do installation, maintenance or both.
- Name sites and clients: malls, hospitals, towers.
A good first line under your name: "HVAC Technician | 7 years, chillers and VRF, 3 years facilities maintenance in Dubai". More in the Gulf CV format guide.
Apply safely
Apply only to adverts that name the agency or employer. A licensed agency may charge you at most ₹30,000 + GST, with a receipt, after you have a written offer. Check the agency's licence before you pay anything, and look for free recruitment adverts where the employer pays the fees.
